After getting stuck overnight in Charlotte, I am finally back from Jamaica. Although I technically should have weighed myself last Friday, I did it as soon as I got home today since I didn’t have access to a scale while traveling. In the first week (plus three days), I lost 0.7 pounds. Not quite a pound, but I am pleased that I didn’t gain anything. The weather in Jamaica was unseasonably terrible, so there wasn’t a lot to do but sit around and eat. I didn’t use my Bodybugg and I didn’t count calories because we spent so much time with family and friends that I didn’t want to bother with that. Stephen and I went kayaking in the ocean and one day, the whole group of us climbed a waterfall. We also went to the gym two or three times, so I am sure that helped keep me from gaining weight. Tomorrow, I will go back to using the Bodybugg and keeping track of calories, but for now, I am off to walk the dog. It will be nice to be back on a regular schedule!
